ALP1 – Assignment 3 – Architecture – Interior – Parallel Lines

Aperture: F/16
ISO: 100
Shutter speed: 0.8 sec

Take 2 – This is the Mies Van der Rohe former Gas Station again, but this time I tried to show the inside. The place was closed when I was there, so I simply put my lense right on the glass wall to have a view of the very minimalist interior. I felt that all the lines in the structure would be perfect for this effect and I decided to desaturate everything except a few details to make it even more striking. There was not much color aside from red and blue anyway. It was impossible not to see my reflection in the shot, as there was nothing to hide behind. So I decided to actually emphasize it a bit by cropping the picture and creating some sort of leading line that would draw the eye right to it.
